Biography

Andrew Mills has been creating user guides and tutorials professionally for over 20-years and is a Fellow for the ISTC in the UK. He spent 14 of those years creating strategy guides for some of the biggest video games in the world, across every type of media from industry-leading games magazines (such as GamesMaster magazine), to self-published eBooks, self-developed iOS apps, audiobooks, and even cover-mounted DVDs.
For the last 6-years, Andrew has used his experience in the corporate world, expanding his content creation skillset into the world UX, UI, DITA, and the ever-challenging world of constantly trying to align multiple different stakeholders to the same documentation-orientated goal.

Now, Andrew’s passion is to help the end user by providing them the content that they need in as many formats as possible, allowing the user to learn in a manner that suits them best. Whether that’s written help, video tutorials, audiobooks, Virtual Reality, or even Augmented Reality. We all learn in our own preferred ways, and creating an efficient, quality-driven, workflow is paramount to making that long-term goal a success.
